DESCRIPTION:Lincoln Center Kiwanis (LCK) and The Hub\, in partnership with OutNebraska\, are working together on a project called The Stocking Project.\nThey are knitting handmade stockings for youth who work with The Hub and may be lacking family connections or support during the holidays.  The goal is to create 65 stockings and stuff them with items needed and wanted.  Books bolster all sorts of social skills\, literacy\, and empathy and we think they make the perfect stocking stuffer!\nChoose a book from our display\, or one of your own choosing.  These youth are teens and young adults and read at different levels.  Consider a can’t-put-it-down novel\, an inspiring history book\, a classic story\, or even a children’s illustrated book that can be read to younger siblings.\nSave 10% on these purchases between 4/21 and 5/11.\nBooks make a difference!

She currently serves as an End-of-Life Doula to individuals and families as they explore legacy wishes\, end-of-life planning\, and writing to create deeper meaning in their lives and connections to future generations.
