Her poetry has appeared in The Baffler\, Beloit Poetry Journal\, Best New Poets\, New Poetry From the Midwest\, Poetry International\, TriQuarterly\, and elsewhere. Ava served as a Stadler Fellow at Bucknell University and received an Individual Excellence Award from the Ohio Arts Council.
