About the author –

Marcia Calhoun Forecki is the author of Speak to Me, (1986 by Gallaudet University Press), an l award winning memoir of her experiences as a hearing mother raising a deaf son.
She has published stories in several journals, and contributing to a long-standing career focused on lived experience and heartfelt storytelling.
