About the Illustrator:
Karissa Bettendorf, owner of Karis Fine Arts, is an artist, author, and illustrator living in Lincoln Nebraska with her husband and their 2nd grade son and Springer Spaniel. When Karissa isn’t painting or writing, she loves to read, garden, bake, and play in the sunshine. Karis Fine Arts is an allied business, and Karissa believes that every person deserves to be celebrated and represented exactly for who they are.
